NYC Arrivals

Welcome to New York! Chances are you’ll be arriving via one of our three major airports, John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia, or Newark. Inside the pages of our Visit New York Guide, you’ll find invaluable information you’re going to need to make your arrival a smooth and pleasant one. Explanations concerning heightened security at our airports and baggage claims are outlined for you.

Now that you’re here, you’ll need to understand how to travel inside New York. First, decide which of our five boroughs you’re going to visit before heading in that direction. Whether you’re visiting Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, or the Bronx, you’re going to need transportation.

Picking the right mode of travel inside the city is broken down for you in the pages of Visit New York Guide. Whether it be by taxi, bus/shuttle, train, or on foot, we can help get you there. You’ll know exactly how to hail a taxi like a native New Yorker or how to purchase a magnetic card for the subway.

Before you reach the end of this section, you may decide to navigate the streets on foot through famous districts such as Wall Street, Battery Park, the Lower East Side, Little Italy, Chinatown, Greenwich Village, Soho, and Tribeca, and many more that can best be seen up close and personal.

You’re here! It’s your arrival, enjoy!
